This is a brand new 20" RD Special Marshal Smoker from the Horizon Smoker Company.  It has just been seasoned and is ready for years of enjoyment with friends and family on my patio in the backyard.  With an upgraded 2nd level slide out shelf, I've got all the room I could ever want.  The RD Special comes with a few items upgraded which makes it much more than the 20" Marshal.  For starters, we've added a counter weight balance for ease in lifting the door to the main chamber.  Dual thermometers get added as well as an installed sliding convection plate.  The charcoal grate in the firebox is a heavier duty reinforced grate with added tubing to ensure years of use.  This unit is what sits on my backyard, and is a personal favorite or Horizon's Owner and President, Roger Davidson.  Add a second level shelf as I  did here and you've got all the room you could ever want.  Weighing in at 525 lbs., this ultimate barbecue smoker is any pit masters dream.  Main chamber of 20" by 44" with a firebox of 20" by 22".

You could say that we sure did put a lot of pictures of this Horizon Smoker on here.  But when the product is something that your proud of, like photos of your family, you kind of want to show it off!  The 20" RD Special Smoker comes loaded with every feature you could want, and if you need even more space then this same unit is built in a 24" size.   Either way, it's a great barbecue built to last a lifetime and sure to please many for decades to come.
